Keynote: Professor Rosemary Wakeman

Rosemary is a Professor of History at Fordham University, where she is also the Director of the Urban Studies Programme. Rosemary is a renowned expert on urban history. We were delighted to hear during this conversation about some of her recently published global comparisons from her book The Worlds of Victor Sassoon (The University of Chicago Press, 2024). Rosemary is also the current President of the Global Urban History Project, which brings together scholars at all stages of their careers, from around the world, with common interests in researching at the intersection of urban history and global history.
